Alkaline
Considering most food items and many beverages are acidic, I believe drinking alkaline water helps our body maintain a healthy balance. Kangen Water offers a pH of 9.5, which is greater than other water providers like Aquafina (5.2 pH), Arrowhead (7.4 pH), Dasani (4.9 pH), Evian (7.6 pH), Real Alkalized Water (7.9 pH), Smart Water (5.9 pH), and tap water (7.2 pH).

Micro Clusters
​These smaller water molecules allow our body to absorb the water at a more rapid rate. Faster absorption leads to improved hydration and allows the body to remove toxins more quickly. ORP (Oxygen Reduction Potential)
Free radicals are everywhere in our body and this is what science claims causes us to get sick. If we are able to minimize the number of free radicals in our body, then in theory we should be healthier than we might be without this reduction. Kangen Water has a unique ORP of −715. I haven’t found other waters that come close to this negative ORP, but examples for common water brands are Aquafina (+542 ORP), Arrowhead (+275), Dasani (+421), Evian (+295), Real Alkalized Water (−25), Smart Water (+305), and tap water (+522). It’s scary some of these common water brands do little to address the sickness-causing free radicals in our body.

Cleaning Ability without the Chemicals
The pH 2.5 Kangen Water produced by Enagic’s SD501 machine is a great non-toxic cleaner and hospitals are starting to use it too! Instead of using household cleaners, Kangen Water (pH 2.5) is capable of killing bacteria and keeping surfaces clean. Hospitals in Japan, where it is certified as a cleaning agent, use this water to keep patient rooms and other environments clean without the residue of toxic chemicals. Removes Pesticides from Food​
Ever wonder how fruits and vegetables are not affected by all of the bugs in nature? Unfortunately, it is due to the large quantities the government allows farmers to spray on our produce...legally! You might use soapy water to clean your food, but the same Kangen Water machine offers cleaning water (pH 11.5) to remove the pesticides just by rinsing or soaking. It is easy to see the difference when you soak ordinary cherry tomatoes in Kangen Water (pH 11.5) and tap water. The Kangen Water turns yellow because the pesticides have actually been removed, but the tap water is still clear and the pesticides are still on your food...gross! I don’t know about you, but I am not willing to put pesticides into my body intentionally.
